DE-CIX is a private network provider for interconnected services and Internet Exchanges, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. It is also one of the largest Internet Exchange operators in the world.
The company recently launched a new platform for cloud interconnection, DirectCLOUD. It had also recently partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a destination cloud for members and their customers to directly connect to via their DirectCLOUD platform. They needed to convey the benefits of AWS and provide carrier networks with a thorough and technical product guide detailing how users connect to AWS via their DirectCLOUD platform. The guide also needed to show the commercial benefits and step by step processes involved so that carriers could use it to discuss and instruct their own clients.
Produced a 60-page technical product guide for DE-CIX DirectCLOUD: Clouds for ISPs and Carriers - Amazon Web Services
The guide acts as a template for other clouds that join their platform. It’s easy to understand and simplifies the terminology used by AWS
Document communicates setup and benefits of connecting to AWS directly to end-customers so ISPs have a full and clear understanding
The document is used as a content offer for capturing leads on the DECIX website and they have promoted through newsletters and online channels
