We're Launching A Podcast! 🎙️

Podcasts have reached new heights over the past few years. For businesses, launching a podcast allows you to reach an entirely new audience. In fact, business is one of the most popular podcasting categories, with a 14% increase in purchase intent for brands who advertise in business podcasts. Not to mention, a whopping 80% of listeners make it through the entire episode.

According to an infographic from Musicoomph.com, podcast listeners are:

  • 45% more likely to have $250,000+ annual income;
  • much more active on every social media channel;
  • more likely to follow companies and brands on social media.

While there is a multitude of statistics about podcasting online, as we continued to research, we realised just how our audience and podcast listeners marry up.

For a Radial Path, this was a no-brainer. We were going to start a podcast. And, alas, we have. Our podcast, The PathCast, will go live on Wednesday, October 2. So watch this space.

BUT. You can listen to 'Episode Zero' RIGHT NOW. Episode Zero is our trailer, demonstrating exactly what you have to look forward to with snippets from a few of our interviewees. Keep scrolling.

Introducing our podcast, The PathCast

See what we did there?

Why, you might ask, when we’re already creating compelling content in the form of ebooks, blogs and whitepapers, did we decide to launch a podcast?

Well, we like to practice what we preach. Podcasts can unlock great potential for businesses, and we want to highlight that to our audience and clients. This is true regardless of whether you’re the producer, guest, or listener.

The PathCast is aimed towards the technology and business community and, across the first season, discussed the highs and lows of starting up, scaling up or shaking up. By providing a platform for tech leaders and entrepreneurs to share their experience, we hope to inspire the next generation of innovators. And let’s face it, it’s great marketing for our guests!

What did the boss have to say?

Ruth Plater, CEO and Founder of Radial Path, said: “I’m thrilled that the Radial Path team has decided to launch a podcast, especially one that highlights such amazing business leaders and new founders. People have such interesting stories to tell, and I’m glad Radial Path’s podcast, The Pathcast, has become a platform for those stories.

“Some people don’t have mentors, so it’s important that we show the ins and outs and ups and downs in business for what they are, especially in an industry so fast-paced and all-encompassing as tech.

“While seemingly counterintuitive for a marketing agency to say, sometimes you’ve just got to ditch the press releases and show the world who you are and what your business is about.”

Putting people back at the center of content

Radial Path has always relied on others’ stories to build great content because, after all, people are at the center of everything. We’re all experts in our respective fields, but only become so after we’ve been taught by someone else. Knowledge really is a collective effort.
